What
is it? Customized Milker Training is a 2 hour course to educate workers about the reasons for the many practices on dairy farms. It is given in Spanish and focuses on farm specific management. Almost any topic related to dairy management can be presented. What does it include? *2 hour Milker Training in Spanish *Customized presentation in English and Spanish |
How
does it work? Call QMPS to set up a meeting at your farm to discuss the topics to be focused on during the course. Pictures will be taken of your farm to integrate into the course to make the concepts more applicable for the workers. A week or two later, QMPS’s Spanish Educator/Translator will come out to give the course in Spanish and facilitate any discussion or hands-on training that may be necessary. |
| Follow-up
Packages The farm is not a static environment. Producers are continually looking for ways to make dairies more profitable and efficient. The ideal situation would be to have periodic trainings, reminders, and discussions to keep the communication gap closed and always be proactive in improving profitability. Choosing to schedule periodic follow-ups allows you and your workers to develop a relationship with the QMPS team and ensures that new workers will be trained properly. |

Farm Information Laminates We can develop and protect a large variety of on-farm resources. These could include farm SOP's, training handbooks, procedures, labels etc. We are willing to work with you to develop the types of resources that will be appropriate on your particular farm. Producing the materials on vinyl or laminating them will allow you to use them for years or until procedures change. Spanish/English Courses Spanish for dairymen English for Spanish speaking managers. These courses are geared towards dairy terminology and simple communication skills between Spanish and English speakers. Courses are given to groups of 6 people for 10 weeks. |
